Very smooth transition from our previous house to the new one under Carter and Co agents’. Very proactive in responding and amending any issues that arose. Regular check up on the amenities in the house like fire/smoke alarms, etc. They also get back to you via email or call as soon as possible, which was not the case with our previous agent. As a family looking for a rental property in Canberra, we got in touch with Lauren from Carter and Co Agents, Braddon. During the last month, we have bee liaising with multiple real estate agents for multiple properties. The thing made harder for us is that we were no located locally in Canberra. Due to the high demand of rental properties, most agents (especially the big-name chain agencies) did not want to assist us with conducting virtual inspections or sending us a video of the property.
This is where Lauren comes in. From our very first enquire about the property in Torrens, Lauren was polite, responsive and extremely supportive. She created a professional quality video of the property for our inspection. She provided answers to all our queries and even arranged for a physical inspection of the property as short notice (thank you James for conducting the inspection on a Friday afternoon).
Although we did not end-up taking up the property, we certainly enjoyed our experience with Carter and Co Agents. They went above and beyond to help us with our rental.

Last month we made the very difficult decision to sell our home and having difficult times with real estate agents in the past, we were hesitant and went in feeling negative. From the moment James stepped through our door a the appraisal stage through to signing contracts, we were reassured and feeling more comfortable about the decision we made. It gets even better from here, along the process we were not met with any shocks or suprises, we were only handed transparent information and presented with lots of different options with James taking the time to explain each one and what that might mean for us. During our open home phase, the photograher was awesome and the photos were star shots!
